After returning from Prague, yet again our Munich host welcomed us back. Unfortunately the job interview never happened as the owner was busy. After some further emails with the owner it turned out that he thought we could speak basic German and English, so with no German he said that he could not employ us. So back to the drawing board, we decided to make our way to Garmisch-Partenkirchen anyway and see what other jobs or accommodation we might be able to find.
Before leaving Munich we did see a couple more sights like the standing wave (so funny/amazing to see people surfing in downtown Munich in full length wetsuits, it did not look warm at all!) and a couple more beer halls for Marc.
We organized a hostel for a couple of nights in GaPa which was super expensive. We had applied to couch surf but no one had gotten back to us. The Sutho's morale was super low with not much luck with jobs, nowhere to live for the winter (had been looking for rooms to rent with no luck) and Marc was really sick. It was a crappy couple of days.

GaPa was a really beautiful place right in the heart of the mountains. There was an american army base in town so most people could speak some form of english. We did not do a lot of tourist things as we were too busy researching jobs and rooms. Luckily a host was available in GaPa and gave us a couple more days to look around to see if anything came up. We left the hostel and stayed at Jim's place for a few nights. Jim was awesome, we got along with him and his girlfriend really well. Staying at Jim's relieved the pressure for a little bit as he let us stay just over a week in total. During this time our friend in Innsbruck said that if we needed a room for winter her friend Eva was going away and would be happy to sub-let her room to us until the end of March. This was amazing news and after some discussion we decided to take the room and then go from there (at least we had somewhere to live!).
