It's T-shirt time in Jersey

After NY we kept moving and made our way to New Jersey our next stop Seaside Heights to visit Jersey Shore (fist pump). It was just under a 2hr drive so we made our way there directly from Coney Island. It was a another interstate drive so nothing too interesting except for the big toll bridge we went over that was huge and gave us one last look at the NYC skyline.
That night we stopped off at Toms River for some dinner. As it was late we could not find anywhere to stay so decided to camp out at wal-mart. The wal-mart was pretty quiet and other RV’s were there so we felt pretty comfortable.

Day 1: Waking up in Wal-Mart was pretty weird but it was free and we had a good night sleep. Plus when you wake up you can pop into wal-mart use their bathroom, get supplies for the day and your set.

We drove across to Seaside Heights found a park for the day and went to explore the Jersey Boardwalk. It was a very touristy place lots of carnival games and rides to go on. Unfortunately the beach was not free, $10 per person much to my sadness :( I was hoping that this was not going to be the theme for all of the east coast.

There were loads of Jersey Shore Show lookalikes while we were there. Men walking around with their tops off, big mussels, girls in skimpy clothing, it was a really funny place.  After a walk and visiting the Shore Store Marc and I went on a ride I have always wanted to go on the ‘Sling Shot’ its normally about $60 per person back in Aus and only $20 in Jersey. The ride was very fast and I loved every minute of it, however Marc did not like it as much and after we had gone up once wanted the ride to end, ha ha ha great fun!

After we had seen enough of Jersey Shore our last stop before heading to Philadelphia was another Harley Store for dad.
